Fruiting blocks

We produce organic fruiting blocks for mushroom production at any scale, from 15 blocks up to several hundred at a time.

Each block is fully colonized in a 5"x8"x19" sealed filter-patch bag, and weighs about 5.6 pounds. Our cultures are regularly tested for productivity, and you should expect strong growth and high yields. We do recommend tailoring your fruiting blocks to your specific growing conditions though, and our customers generally start by ordering a few each of a variety of blocks to see what works best in their conditions. It's easier to tailor your varieties to your space than it is to fight conditions to grow something that doesn't want to be there!

Although oyster varieties (we have pearl, gray, pink, golden, Phoenix, and blue) and lion's mane are our two most popular fruiting blocks, we also produce shiitake, pioppino, chestnut, king trumpet (it's an oyster species but behaves very differently than other species), and reishi.
